About me

Hi, I'm Mateusz. For over 15 years I've been helping companies in their software development journey.

I'm a husband and father of three. A sports enthusiast and a fan of good music. It used to be just football and team sports. These days, with family in first place, there isn't much time left to organise a match. So instead it's a 6:00 a.m. start: lace up the running shoes, grab the first T-shirt at hand. No planning, no rounding up ten people for a game. Running is freedom and ease of action. There's nothing better for clearing the head.

I started my adventure back in school, working through my first HTML/CSS/PHP textbooks. It was hard to finish a technical book because I always wanted to put it into practice right away. I had the perfect testing ground for my skills in the family business. In high school, knowing how to code earned me a bit of "slack" with my teachers. And after sleepless nights at the computer, being allowed to sleep in until 11:00 a.m. felt extraordinary 🙂

My first commercial projects also happened during high school, where I helped and trained classmates in building websites. Many of those people are now entrepreneurs themselves.

The following years took me even deeper into the IT world. I expanded my technical knowledge at university in Szczecin, which helped me dive into the process of designing IT systems and - most importantly - gave me the foundations of how to build software. Already during my studies, the first mentions of agile software development began to appear.

My mission

My mission is to make life easier for entrepreneurs and give them back space for what matters most - creativity!

I know perfectly well that one of an entrepreneur's most important tasks is working on growing the company - but when are you supposed to focus on it? The volume of daily duties can be overwhelming, and constantly doing the same repetitive tasks undoubtedly kills creativity.

Every company is a technology company

Connecting the dots

Consulting

I help you understand where technology can genuinely improve your company. I listen, analyse, and together we look for simple solutions to complex problems.

Spreadsheets and Excel

I turn chaotic spreadsheets into organised tools that truly help in day-to-day work. I automate repetitive tasks and cut down the time spent on data analysis.

Process

I map out processes to find places worth simplifying, speeding up, or automating. I help teams work more smoothly - without unnecessary clicks and redundant steps.

Software development

I build tailor-made tools - from small automations to applications that genuinely support everyday work. I choose technologies to match the needs, not the other way around.

There's more to life than business

Being an entrepreneur is a lifestyle for me. It's not only about creating products and services, but also about building relationships - not just business ones, but partnerships and friendships too.

Business is inseparably tied to processes. But to me, a process is also sport. It's also raising children. In all of these areas you need patience and the ability to notice the small, often invisible elements that together form a coherent whole.

One of the books that strongly shaped my approach to life and work is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It taught me to look differently at values, relationships and - crucially - at how to react to situations that aren't always comfortable.
