The challenge
Service crews work in the field, more than 80 metres up, with limited connectivity. Reporting turbine data back to operators meant manual retyping and constant technician-to-office coordination. The office lost hours administering a single work order, and technicians had no real offline support and no visibility of progress.
What we built
An office panel for creating and monitoring work orders (blade repairs, inspections, mechanism servicing), assigning technicians and managing farms and turbines.
An offline-first mobile app for technicians, with a local database and automatic sync once they are back in range.
A repair procedure builder with photos, voice notes and automatic time tracking.
A parser for the operator's PDF reports that extracts the damage list from the documentation.
Photo backup in the phone gallery and in the cloud — the technician never worries about losing material.
Results
The system runs in production — the first rollout is complete.
Around 80% of manual administration is gone — reports generate themselves instead of being retyped.
Technicians work offline without worrying about a lost photo; sync happens in the background.
The office sees work status as it happens, with time spent per intervention.
